Nesta semana quero agradecer, especialmente, aos leitores do Blog Midiaeclesia dos Estados Unidos (USA), pois a cada semana o número de visualizações dos EUA, tem aumentado consideravelmente.
Desta maneira, o texto a seguir será em inglês e português. O qual tem como propósito alcançar mais leitores que falam o inglês, tem interesse e que se preocupam com os assuntos aqui vinculados.
É muito interessante quando lemos a Bíblia e vemos o cuidado de Deus com todos os seres humanos. Mas neste breve artigo, quero destacar a preocupação indireta de Deus com as crianças, a partir da liturgia o qual foi, por Ele preparada e revelada ao ser humano, na Bíblia Sagrada.
Por que uma preocupação indireta? Porque o argumento sobre o qual basearei, as formas de ´´cultos``, tanto vetero como neo testamentário, não tem um ensino objetivo e direto que nos permite ensinar, pois foram estruturados por Deus, pensando diretamente nas crianças. Porém, é possível enxergar, sem forçar a interpretação, que as práticas cúlticas foram ordenadas de tal maneira que nelas, encontramos algo de fundamental para a educação das crianças, principalmente aquelas até os 7 anos. E, esta prática é justamente o ritmo que Deus estabeleceu nas celebrações por Ele ordenadas, principalmente no Antigo Testamento. Por exemplo, quando observamos a prática dos sacrifícios de holocaustos que os judeus realizavam como parte do seu culto a Deus (Lev.1:03-07).
Nesta passagem, existe um ritmo bem definido:
1º passo - Deve ser separado um animal macho
2º passo - Deve escolher um animal sem mancha
3º passo - Deve ser oferecido à porta da tenda
4º passo - Deve colocar a mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto
5º passo - Deve degolar o bezerro perante o Senhor
6º passo - Os sacerdotes oferecerão e o sangue será espargido sobre o altar
7º passo - Os sacerdotes esfolarão o holocausto
8º passo - Os sacerdotes porão fogo sobre o altar e a lenha será posta em ordem
9º passo - Os sacerdotes colocarão em ordem as partes dos animais
10º passo- Os sacerdortes lavarão a fressura e as pernas dos animais e depois queimarão
O que podemos ver nítido nestes sacrifícios?
É justamente, o ritmo ordenado por Deus que deveria ser obedecido a risca pelos ofertantes, o ritmo possui algumas características fundamentais relacionados a aprendizagem e educação das crianças.
No Novo Testamento, o exemplo a ser destacado é o ensino do Apóstolo Paulo à igreja de Corinto, de como deveriam organizar a reunião cúltica deles, ´´Que fareis, pois, irmãos? Quando vos ajuntais, cada um de vós tem salmo, tem doutrina, tem revelação, tem lingua, tem interpretação. Faça-se tudo para edificação`` (I Co. 14:6). Nesta passagem, Paulo coloca que o momento do culto coletivo deveria seguir um ritmo.
Por que o ritmo é importante para as crianças?
1. Pois, ele reproduz ações idênticas em momentos diferentes, mas equivalentes. Ou seja, o ritmo permite as crianças se adaptarem a diversos momentos da vida, que embora aconteçam em momentos cronológicos e ambientes diferentes, permanecerão idênticos. Isto permite entender que o ritmo, não é algo rígido, inflexivel, antes é plenamente adaptável. O ´´culto``, por isto mesmo, é algo que tendo uma estrutura definida, não se fecha em si mesmo, antes por ser controlado pelo Espírito de Deus, Ele não mudará a essência, os princípios que regem o ´´culto``, ao mesmo tempo não deixará que o mesmo, caia na monotonia, na rotina rígida. A criança ao ser colocada em um ambiente onde o ritmo segue um princípio ritmico, aprende sobre a necessidade de reproduzir a essência, conhecendo os limites da mesma e a ser flexível e coerente quanto a formas históricas e culturais.
2. Pois é o fundamento para a adaptação. Por não ser exatamente igual, mas por proporcionar um equilíbrio, quanto ao que está envolvido na repetição ritmica, ele propociona uma adaptabilidade, uma integração não forçada ao que acontece, neste caso, o ´´culto``.
3. Pois ele substitui a força. Quando os encontros coletivos repetitivos acontecem, eles vão demandando um gasto de energia cada vez menor, em relação àqueles que acontecem uma única vez. Eventos para os quais horários, lugares físicos e outras circunstâncias são diferentes daqueles que são habitualmente frequentados pelas pessoas, sempre exigirão um esforço maior, principalmente o psicológico. Crianças, precisam ser educadas pelo ritmo do sossego, da repetição de um mesmo ambiente e estrutura pedagógica.
4. Pois, leva à formação de hábitos. Quando a criança aprende a habituar-se com horários, eventos, atos, ela tem condições de suportar com segurança e eficiência os compromissos da vida cotidiana e assim não se esgotar. O ´´culto`` com um início nítido, uma sequência bem delimitada e um encerramento sempre da mesma forma e tempo, ensinam a criança que os eventos não são realizados de forma aleatória, sem sentido. Antes, permitirão que não faltem a ela a flexibilidade necessária para a adaptação e a perseverança em continuar participando salutarmente de um ambiente e momento tão importante para ela.
Outro exemplo, que quero colocar sobre ritmo, é em relação às reuniões cúlticas de 30, 40 anos atrás. Que para o padrão hodierno podem até parecer muito ´´religiosas``, ´´rígidas``, mas algo que não pode deixar de ser constatado é que justamente por elas, terem um início nítido, um meio bem definido e um encerramento claro, isto trazia para as crianças um aprendizado claro e certeiro quanto aos propósitos referentes ao que Paulo chamou de ordem e decência (I Co. 14:40).
Sendo assim, é possível traçar uma linha nítida de que Deus sempre propôs educar todas as pessoas e neste caso fazemos referência justamente às crianças, que são aquelas que mais precisam aprender pelo ritmo. Hoje, quando ´´os cultos`` não tem quase nenhuma forma ritmica, como as crianças, até 7 anos, estarão aprendendo? É lógico, que há exceções a regra, mas fiquemos apenas com as igrejas que perderam a compreensão de como a estrutura de um ´´culto`` ensina, principalmente, as crianças. Mas, e quando as crianças são deixadas à disposição de ´´tias`` que as enchem de papéis para fazer pintura, ou raramente desenharem; que contam histórias, as vezes, bíblicas sem nenhum preparo pedagógico, que usam televisões e computadores para entreterem as crianças, nos assim chamados ´´cultinhos``? O que se pode constatar é que, não há nenhuma possibilidade da igreja está ensinando algo útil as crianças. Além de perder todos os benefícios do ritmo, com o qual o culto de adultos deveria ser organizado, a situação fica pior, pois nos tais ´´cultinhos``, onde deveria existir um mínimo de didatismo, santa preocupação pedagógica em como a criança aprende, principalmente aquelas do primeiro setênio. Infelizmente, entregamos nossas crianças para que elas desaprendam como cultuar, coletivamente, ao Senhor e como a ser organizadas em todas as áreas da vida, isto em se tratando somente sobre o ritmo, pois existem outros aspectos que poderiam ser abordados, como a imitação e sua importância na educação das crianças...
Portanto, Deus deseja que aprendamos a imitá-lo e assim pensarmos como estamos organizando nossos ´´cultos`` e ´´cultinhos`` com relação as crianças.
Obs: Existem poucas igrejas em que há um departamento infantil organizado, que realmente tem uma preocupação sincera e divina para com as crianças. Minha oração é que essas igrejas se multipliquem e ensinem outras a trabalhar da mesma forma, caso contrário, será tarde demais, para nossas crianças.

The “service”, the rhythm and the kids
This week I want to thank, especially for the Midiaeclesia readers from United States, as each week the numbers of visitors from USA, has been considerably grown.
Thinking about it, the following text will be in English and Portuguese. This aims to reach more readers that speak English that are interested and concerned about the subjects linked here.
It´s very interesting when we read the Bible and we see the God´s care with the whole humans. But in this article, I want to highlight the indirect God´s concern with the children, from the liturgy which, was prepared by Him and revealed to the human, in the Holy Bible.
Why an indirect concern? Because the argument upon I will base, the way of the “services”, as much “old” as “new” testament, doesn´t have a direct and objective teaching that allows us to teach, because they were structured by God, thinking directly on the children.
However, it´s possible to see, without force the interpretation, that the services/cult practices were ordered in such way that, we find something fundamental for the kids education, mainly on the 7 years old ones. And, this practice is exactly the rhythm that God established on the celebrations ordered by Him, mainly on the Old Testament. For example, when we observed the practice of the holocaust sacrifices that the Jewish used to do as part of their cult to God (Lev. 1:03-07).
On this passage, there is a rhythm well defined:
1º step – A male animal shall be separate
2º step – The animal shall be without stain
3º step – It shall be offered at the tent door
4º step – It shall put the hands over the holocaust head
5º step – It shall decapitated the calf before God
6º step – The priests will offer and the blood will sprinkled on the Lord´s table/altar
7º step – The priests will excoriate the holocaust
8º step – The priests will put fire on the altar and the firewood will be put in order
9º step – The priests will put in order the parts of the animals
10º step – The priests will wash the pluck and the animals legs and then will fire it
What can we see clear on these sacrifices?
It´s precisely, the pace ordered by God that should be strictly obeyed by the offers, and the pace contains some essential characteristics related to the learning and children´s education.
On the New Testament, the example highlighted is the teaching of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian church, about how they should organize their service meeting, ´´Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I bring you some revelation or Knowledge or prophecy or teaching? (I Co. 14:06)
Why the rhythm is important to the children?
1. Because, it reproduce the same actions in different moments, but equivalent. In other words, the pace allows the children to adapt in many different moments of life, that even if it happens in chronological and environments different, it remains identical. This implies to understand that pace, is not a rigid, inflexible, but totally adaptable. For this reason, the “service”, when has a defined structure, it doesn´t close in itself, before it, can be control by the Spirit of God, He won´t change the essence, the foundation that guides the “service”, at the same time, it won´t let this become monotonous, on a rigid routine. The child when is put in a place where the pace follows a principle rhythmic, learn about the need to reproduce the essence, and get to know the limit of it and becomes flexible about the history and culture ways.
2. Because it´s the base to adapt. As it´s not exactly the same, but provide a balance, when involved on the rhythmic repetition, it´s provide adaptability, not a forced integration to what happen, but in this case the “service”.
3. Because it replace the power. When the repetitions of group meetings happen, it demands a lower energy waste, related to the ones who happen just once. Events that schedule, place and other circumstance are different of the ones usually frequented by the people, always will demand a bigger effort, especially the psychological. Kids need to be educated by the calm pace, of repetition from the same environment and pedagogical structure.
4. Therefore leads to the habit´s formation. When the child learn to get used with schedule, events, acts, they are able to support the commitments of everyday life with security and efficiency thus they don´t run out. The “service” with a clear beginning, a well-defined sequence, and an ending always on the same way and time, teach the child that the events are not performed at random, with no sense. Before it, will permit the flexibility for suiting and persistence to continuous participating healthily of an environment and such special moment for them.
Another example, I want to mention about rhythm, is about the service meeting of 30, 40 years ago. That for the modern standard seems very “religious”, “rigid”, but something that can´t be left out is exactly because it used to have a clear beginning, a well-defined middle and a clear end, and it would bring to the children a right and clear learning about the purpose that Paul called order and decency. (I Co. 14:40).
Therefore, it´s possible to draw a clear line that God always proposed to educate all the people and in this case we do reference on the kids that are the ones who needs more to learn through the rhythm. Today, when “the service” hardly ever has a pace way, how the kids until 7 years old will learn? Of course, there are rule’s exceptions, but let’s be only with the church that lost the comprehension of how the “service” structure teaches, specially, the children. But, what about when the children are left for the aunts disposition, which push a lot of paper for the kids to colour it or rarely draw on it; that tell biblical stories, sometime with no pedagogical prepare, using TV and computer to entertain the kids, called “cultinhos” (little service)? What we can see is that there is no possibility that church is teaching something useful to the children. Besides lose the pace´s benefit, which the service for adults should be organized, the situation get even worse, because on the “cultinhos”, where should exist the minimum of didactism, pedagogical concern on how child learns, especially those on the first years (0-7). Unfortunately, we let our children to unlearn how to collectively worship the Lord and how to be organized in every area of life, and this only treating about rhythm, because it exist other aspects that we could talk about, as imitation and its value on the children´s education…
Therefore, God wants us to learn how to imitate him and thus think about how we are organizing our “service” and “little service” related to children.
PS: There are few churches where there is an organized children´s department that has a divine and sincere concern with the children. My prayer is that these churches multiplies and teach others to work on the same way, otherwise, will be too late for our children.
